These pages are maintained by Jussi Lahtinen AKA juGe L. Here is a small write up about the history of my site.
In 1997 I got my first internet connection and I that very same year I made my first home sites when I was learning some HTML. There was of course a small page for my very much loved band The Prodigy. In 1998 I made seperate site for Prodigy and the pages were called Juge's Prodigy Pages. First I just thought to made a plain Prodigy pages just like other people had done in the net, but suddenly I get caught with the project. I was building my site for hours and hours. At that time my pages were pretty ok if you think about the time. I was interested building them and I got so much nice feedback so I continued. Later in 2000 I finally bought my first own domain jugesprodigy.net and JPN was re-born.
My pages expanded more and more and I had over 300 pages of info there in the end of 1999. I had 2-3 different layouts between 1999-2001 then I wanted to get rid of the frames. The only problem was that I had over 600 pages to re-build. In 2002 I worked over 4 months doing the non-frame pages and then everything was finished. Between that time my mind has changed a it again and I wasn't that happy with the design so I did some fixes and then I published the whole shit again.
2000-2003 growing was huge and I gained much traffic and contributions to these sites. I made some big updates and re-desings to the site although the Prodigy scene was quite dead in that time. Finally 2004 Prodigy released AONO and I made several bigger updates and layout Face-lifts. After that Prodigy went to hiatus again and I lost my interest to keep updating site regularily. Of course I have nowadays much more to do than my sites and that's the one reason my site hasn't been updated that often.
In the past years I have tried to find inspiration to make total face-lift to whole site. It has been really hard because the code is so old and there are more than 900 pages to update and fix. I have made many many different versions and binned most of them. This one which is now released is a mix from 2006-2007. I just needed to put it online and bring some freshness to this site. I won't update it anymore so often but it's definitely the biggest Prodigy site at the moment and I think it always will be. Internet has changed and so is The Prodigy. This is my heritage to the old and new fans of The Prodigy.
Keep it raw, keep it REAL.
